President, St. Francis of Assisi Parish
I attended my first Women's ACTS Retreat in June of 2002.
ACTS has been a family experience for the me and my family! My husband attended first, then myself, then our oldest daughter, and finally our youngest daughter! Since the first retreat, we have all served on men, women and teen ACTS teams. It has been a spiritually enriching experience for our family! Our newest member of the family, our son-in-law, also has attended and served in teen ACTS.
My first team experience was a mission retreat in Biloxi, Mississippi in October 2004. One year later, a hurricane washed over and significantly damaged that community. I began service with the ACTS Retreat Foundation in raising funds for our brothers and sisters in Biloxi. The connection and support from the ACTS community was God sent!

Vice President, St. Matthew Parish
I attended my first Women's Retreat in Kerrville, TX. The Parish was Notre Dame and it was directed by Carol Stehling. My husband, Ross, sent me on this retreat as a gift. One of the best gifts I've ever received. The retreat inspired me to join RCIA where I converted to Catholicism. From there I was blessed to be on several teams and even had the pleasure to co-direct and direct women's retreats. I enjoyed serving on the St. Matthew's ACTS Core and am now blessed to serve on the ARF board of directors. I look forward to my continued Journey with Christ each and every day!

Treasurer, Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish
My first retreat was with Our Lady Of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Selma, TX and I attended the 7Th women's' retreat held in April of 1990. ACTS did not save me, nor did it change me, it re-in-forced my Christian life. It helped me to realize that everyone has walked the rocky road of life, some more rocky than others. Just like Jesus, the road ahead is not always smooth however, we can all make a difference in someone else's life.
Since that first retreat, there have been many others. Each time the experience is different, yet the same outcome. Different people cross our path on our journey, and therefore, the result changes. I have meet many, many wonderful people. That is what I love most about ACTS.
