We have been very blessed by the ACTS community. Your donations were used to provide scholarships to parishes in need of assistance. In most cases we donate up to 80% of the request. However there were several exceptions, due to extreme need, where more is provided. We believe the individual should have ownership or "sweat equity" in the retreat process and therefore we expect the retreatant to pay a small portion of the cost. Since 2005, the amount given as scholarships has been distributed to 200-plus retreats in the United States. Scholarships were given to parishes in San Antonio as well as other Texas communities and to Albuquerque, New Mexico. We also supported communities in Nueva Rosita, Mex. and other cities in Mexico, as well as Honduras and South Africa. Our goal for the future is to reach out and provide scholarship assistance to as many parishes in need as possible. To accomplish this, we will continue to work with ACTS Missions in their role, and to communicate with all parishes offering ACTS retreats.
We hope you will help us in our mission by acting as "apostles" and "evangelizers" in getting the word out to parishes and individuals in need of financial assistance.
